Additional considerations
Our help desk service and project work do not include supply of policy manuals, submissions in a tribunal process, or enterprise bargaining. For policy manuals, we point to the Australian Employee Manual. Lucio Matarazzo Pty Ltd can separately assist in regulatory matters.

MatarazzIR abn 53 394 554 352, the non-profit supplier of informational work agreement resources.
Our payment terms are in advance of service. If your matter relates to a tribunal process, we may ask you to pay an invoiced amount into our statutory trust account for disbursement in accordance with our advance fee information and the rules of our statutory trust account: Fair Work (Representation) Regulations 2024 (SA), Schedule 2, Part 1.
Industrial relations practitioner Lucio Matarazzo is registered as an agent under the Fair Work Act 1994 (SA), LMPL is an industrial agent under the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA), and each of LMPL’s practitioners may practice as paid agents under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).

Such advisers may be engaged by the client directly.
We can assist you in these ways:
A. Help desk subscription - by phone and email and with our informational work agreement resources;
B. Project work - by work order to address given IR processes.
A. Help desk subscription:
1. Provision is for 12 months (the period), renewable; or for 6 months on request.
2. We supply detailed pro forma employment agreements for full time, part time and casual employment modes with -
a. standard terms and conditions of employment;
b. additional terms and conditions of employment;
c. remuneration schedule setting out loaded rates of pay based on award requirements (base rate plus relevant penalties and allowances) for given awards and classification levels.
3. We supply a spreadsheet pay calculator with the formulae underpinning the loaded rates of pay.
4. We provide access to updated pro forma employment agreements and spreadsheets for you to use throughout the subscription period.
5. We answer your questions by email and phone.
6. The period commences upon our receipt of payment for the period.
7. The payment amount for the period is AUD $2,500 GST inclusive (or AUD $1,400/ 6 months) (current at 8 February 2025 and may be subject to change).
B. Project work:
1. Provision is for 3 months (the period).
2. With regard to existing employment agreements with multiple employees, we supply new pro formas that can be customised to the individual cases, with the standard, additional and remuneration details described above.
3. We calculate pay banding across your multiple operational areas.
4. We convene discussions when required by you, to strategise or negotiate matters from an IR perspective.
5. Associated with the matters, we supply documents connected to processes prescribed by industrial awards and enterprise agreements.
6. We answer your questions by email and phone.
7. The period commences upon our receipt of payment for the period.
8. The payment amount for the period is AUD $6,250 GST inclusive (current at 1 September 2023 and may be subject to change) based on 3 hours per week for 13 weeks at our work order rate.

Work order information
You can order project work from the following service categories:
a. interpretation, review and drafting of workplace instruments and regulatory instruments;
b. enterprise agreements.
When we receive your work order, we estimate the number of hours involved, and agree task hours with you. You can moderate task hours by supplying an event chronology or sample instrument.
On invoice, the payment amount in relation to an individual work order is AUD $250.00 per hour for each of the first four (4) hours and AUD $150.00 per hour for subsequent hours in the one work order. Prices include GST, are current at 1 September 2023 and may be subject to change.
The work is performed and signed by our practitioners, appropriately qualified by education and experience. We hold a current policy of public liability insurance for $20,000,000; a current policy of professional indemnity insurance for $5,000,000; and our officer for the work holds a current policy of income protection insurance. Certification or evidence of the insurance is available upon request.
Our privacy policy consists with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and is available upon request.
Data security and client confidentiality
We operate as follows:
send and receive data via password protected and encrypted emailing system;
daily log emails and attachments by filename: firm’s name (initials)_yymmdd_sender’s name (initials) (and number in day if applicable);
daily back-up files and email to password protected external drive;
maintain electronic files, and hard copy files in locked storage, to comply with record-keeping regulation;
maintain office security including gate locks, window shutters and file storage locks;
maintain computer security including antivirus software, email scanning, firewall, system backup and restore, and password protected access;
our privacy policy, including client access to information, consists with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth);
in keeping with our Codes of Conduct under the Fair Work Act 1994 (SA) & Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA);
maintain a Quality Management System that enables us to identify a potential conflict of interest, disclose it, and deal with it in accordance with applicable regulation.
Performance and quality
We operate as follows:
apply our Quality Management System to our provision, to continuously improve the quality of our provision;
apply our Business Continuity Plan to our provision, to enable us to facilitate provision in the event of interruption to production processes;
refresh our competencies in relation to our service provision, through an independent training provider;
encourage adequate instruction in your work orders;
agree task hours with you, and timelines for discrete components, and completion dates for those components;
during the work, progressively make necessary adjustments to our work plan to ensure completion dates are achieved;
notify you, and state remedial action necessary to achieve a completion date, if we at any time believe that a completion date may be at risk;
provide drafts or inventory prior to final delivery of product;
deliver a product for you to share with your accountant or legal adviser if you wish.

Our training program consists of three streams.
Stream A - on-the-job quality operations:
basic skills and knowledge that all employees must complete;
includes proprietary information and is basic to the quality operations of LMPL and MatarazzIR.
Stream B - supplementary quality operations
For employees who are in ongoing employment with LMPL or MatarazzIR, we provide in stages the below certified courses through Intertek SAI Global:

Stream C - advanced quality operations
For senior employees with 3+ years of experience working with us, we offer an advanced course based on individual performance review, skill analysis and future roles, from the following:
